4th Place | Voted Out 3-1
By Jeff Varner
#3630 Hey Nadiya. Congrats on surviving that tribal council.

Here are some questions:

1. That was a pretty hectic tribal council with a lot of drama. What was your take on what went down?

2. Did that vote go as you expected? If not, what'd you expect and what do you suspect went wrong?

3. With Kelly being the first member of the jury, at what point do you have to start considering jury votes?

4. Give me a status update on your game: How are you feeling about your place in the game this round? What's your path to the end?

#3718 1. That was a pretty hectic tribal council with a lot of drama. What was your take on what went down?
Well Kelly and So we're both told they were in danger and they pretty much started acting like Missy did by scrambling. They both messaged everybody asking the same thing... who they should vote out. Then they tried to flip people by saying they had other people voting with them. Unfortunately Jaclyn fell for the drama and took it personally... much like Dale did with Missy.

2. Did that vote go as you expected? If not, what'd you expect and what do you suspect went wrong?
Yes... other than one mystery vote. Kelly obviously voted for either So or Dale. Other than her vote.. there is a random vote. Jac Reed Drew Myself and Joaq all voted Kelly.. or so they say. My guess is that Jenn was the random vote.. but I will have to go back and look at the messages.

3. With Kelly being the first member of the jury, at what point do you have to start considering jury votes?
I think you need to start considering jury votes from the very beginning. It is important to be on their good side.. as well as to show them what you can do and why you outwitted, outplayed, & outlasted them. I am starting to think of some big moves I can make.. it is hard when you're with so many emotional players :/

4. Give me a status update on your game: How are you feeling about your place in the game this round? What's your path to the end?
I think I am doing well. I have a public idol and the hidden idol and two clues to a third idol but I'm sure somebody has already found it.. I mean Joaquin and Dan didn't even try to get a second clue and they were searching a lot when we got the first clue. I think now is the time that I have to pick and choose an alliance instead of playing the field... but it's hard. I don't really trust Dale but he thinks I do. There are three pretty big players I am considering voting out tomorrow... Drew Val (she hasn't done anything yet but she is sneaky and flip-flops) and Jenn. Two people have stated they also want Drew out... but if I'm going to pull this off I can't have him find out I am behind it. Because he is a force to be reckoned with. I think I might as well take Jaclyn to the end at this point because nobody is going to vote for her. She doesn't come online ads much as everyone else and doesn't seem to be trying much. She hasn't won any competitions yet and she was only Yali's leader because she was the only volunteer. So is also irrelevant and can stick around a bit longer.

Reed also seems to work with me but Idk if I can suggest drew to him... jenn would be the easiest threat to get out at this point because Joaquin Dan dale me jac and maybe Reed would vote for her. But Idk man everybody is playing in multiple alliances so it's confusing. I'll figure something out though. I'm going to use my public idol for a big move.

Idk if searching for a 3rd idol is worth my time but I'll try a bit more tomorrow... I'm assuming at this point somebody else has it unfortunately.

Yeah we do seem to have some very emotional players this season, how do you cope with them? Is there an advantage or disadvantage to playing with people who think with their emotions?

Well I learned from when I played Big Brother to not take everyone so seriously... I was super emotional and having to hurt people made me cry and super anxious. Luckily for me, I have decided to play the opposite.

I am playing an emotionless game.. but pretending to have emotions. If that makes any sense. I am getting to know these people and their lives outside of this game as well instead of just talking game with them. This way I can wheel in the more emotional people who would trust me more from that.

It's kind of an advantage as well because when people like So and Jaclyn and Dale get into fights so publicly and are clearly hurt by what the other ones say, it puts a target on them because they will be seen as more of a loose cannon who can't keep things to themselves, so other people won't trust them. And I am not in the spotlight in a negative light like they are.

#3731 Is there any risk of being attached to people in this game and reverting back to being a super emotional person like you said you were in big brother?

At this stage of the game, you start to get to know people more and more, especially with having so much interaction together. Do you have any specific people you've grown particularly fond of?

I don't think so but anything is possible. The only person that I really like is Reed. But honestly the only thing I think about when choosing who to vote out is who would this piss off and how would that effect my game. I think Reed and Dale would appreciate the game moves when and if I have to vote them out..

Reed is the most interesting tbh and we just clicked since day 1. But it's hard to tell who he is aligned with but he seems to want to work with me again. If I can convince him to vote drew then that would kind of prove his allegiance a bit more.
I also talk to Dale a lot but I see how sneaky he is... so I know he will have to be voted out at some point and I think he will understand.

#3749 Do you have a game plan to get you to the end already?
Ummm well I really should but itales pre planning difficult when people are so sneaky. I think this next vote may be crucial to seeing who I should align with. I know I have jac 100% but two votes won't make a majority vote. So as of this very moment... I am playing things by ear. icon_chaos
