Confessional 19 Day 1

"I think that we really have a fantastic shot to win the first challenge.

Our unity as a tribe is surprisingly very good -- everyone really likes each other, no huge 'arguments' or anything have broken out yet... It's as chill as chill can be in Indonesia right now, and I'm lovin' it.

If we do lose, however -- Shirin, unfortunately, will probably be the one sent home. I don't exactly want anyone to have to walk out of the backdoor and get their torch snuffed, but it's Survivor. If big man Jeff wants to call one of us up to whisper sweet nothings into our ear and snuff our torch -- so be it. We can't control that. However, what we CAN control is making sure that the correct person goes home and that correct person is, at least at this point, going to be Shirin.

I think the odds of it being me and me becoming the dreaded first-boot do certainly exist. Everybody sees me as a very nice guy, but you can never be too cocky in this game. Everyone could hate me and be out to slaughter me for all I know! I'm used to being an outcast in my life, so hey -- that wouldn't be any different. "

"Now that I've gotten to know everyone a lil better, I'm going to do another analysis confessional.

Kelly is my main-ally. She's super sweet, we share a lot in common, we can trust each other... Ahh, it's relaxing to have somebody like her in the game. only issue is, well -- having to lie about my age. I feel like she'll truly be upset and disappointed when we get out of this game and I reveal that the whole time I wasn't 17 but I was even younger. It makes me feel really bad, but welp - if I did tell the truth about my age, I'd be out for the count. As out for the count as Tito Ortiz against Chuck Liddell.

Dan is my big bro. He looks out for me, I, to some extent, look out for him too! although, unfortunately, Kelly is out to get him, which I might be partly responsible for... Hehe. Dang, it's as if you're girlfriend was on a mission to destroy your big brother...

Max is, well... Solemn. I didn't want to be too mean to anyone in these confessionals coming out here, but quite frankly - Max is very intense, and big brother Dan agrees with me there, too. Surprisingly, everybody else seems really into him and I have no problem with him, I just don't want to have an alliance with him.

So! Gotta love the So-and-so. She's a really nice person, she's a little strange as previously mentioned but I still love her. she might be, well, quite serious like Max is sometimes, but still, I do really enjoy her company and she is our leader, so bein' close to her isn't going to be a bad thing for me. Not at all.

Shirin is a character that I can almost promise you, has been mentioned a lot in previous confessionals not only from me but from other castaways as well. Not only is she fairly strange, but she seems to be wearing a different mask or persona to every person she speaks to... To me, she's playing the 'sweet newbie' role. To So and Kelly, she's acting suicidal and depressing, which is actually upsetting the poor girls and to Sierra and Dan, it seems as if she's just playing this kind of 'I'm a goat' role? It's strange, really... All I can say is, I think Shirin could win an Oscar with that golden performance of her's.

Jenn, or Jennifer, is another person on the hitlist of people that are absolutely determined to make things complex for Kelly and I by asking us for an alliance. I love Jenn, I really do, but GOD! A ton of people are asking Kelly and I for alliances and it's truthfully getting very, very old... You only need one alliance to get to the swap. Not two. Not three. Not four. Not five!. Anyway, despite that, I'm very into Jenn. She's serious and intense, but seems nice and she has a good sense of humor. I would be open to working with her in the future, but as of now: sorry babe, but I've got way too much shit to get done on my bucket-list.

Joaquin is probably one of my favorites at this point. This might be impossible to say, but this tribe is like the Adams Family. And I will confirm that Joaquin is the only one here that isn't totally nuts or at least on the path to becoming nuts. Joaquin is literally an average dude and I love him for that. It's refreshing to have out here.

Sierra is the one that I've spoken to the least by far. We spoke a little last night, but other than that -- nada. Nothin' from Sierra. In fact, I had to contact her myself before she even gave me more than 3 sentences. No issue, though -- she does seem like a very mature, understanding individual. Certainly one that I'd be interested in working with in coming tribal-councils. "

"Right now, this game is going insanely well for me strategically and socially. I have 2 core 3 alliances (Joaquin/Dan/Myself-So/Kelly/Myself), 1 core 2 alliance (Kelly/Myself) and 1 majority alliance (Joaquin/Dan/Kelly/Sierra/Myself/Potentially So.) That is very, very good for my game, and it should assure that I'll make it through to the swap if I don't screw up too badly.

Also, on the fence, I have a potential alliance between Jenn, Kelly and I. I'm not sure if anything will come out of that one or not, but I guess we'll see in a little bit!!!

At the moment, it's shapin' up to be a Shirin boot if we attend tribal once, and a Max boot if we attend tribal again after that -- fine by me. Max and I do relate, both being homeschooled, but I think he has to go after Shirin despite that. Also, he asked me if anyone has spoken strategy to me, which is something I really wasn't comfortable with answering.

And additionally, I've heard that So would be willing to play the idol on Kelly or I if we felt like we were in any trouble. How magnificent, haha! I'm not sure if I can 100% trust this, but eh -- it's something to think about asking So if I ever feel in danger. "

"Oh lord -- this game is such a social journey. Chatter, chatter, chatter, chatter... Oh, and did I mention how much chatter there is?

Talking to these people gets tedious. I love 'em all but.... Agh, having a social-game is rough. sometimes you're really in the mood for talking, flirting and strategising i.e, and sometimes you're completely NOT and you just want to be able to get some alone time.

However, unfortunately, Stranded doesn't allow that. Stranded is rough. Stranded will test how much and how long you can handle being around... a diverse crowd of human-beings. To become the Sole Survivor of Stranded, you can't do what YOU want. You have to dance to the game's tune. The game wants to dance the tango? You dance the tango. You don't suddenly break into Gangnam Style. If you try to go by your own accord -- by your own tune -- you can't win. It's just how the game works and I've soon come to notice that."

So, even with a loss, we have an easy boot in Shirin. And if Shirin is pulled from the game for inactivity -- Max. Max hasn't been all that active, honestly.

Sierra is really kind and mature. I honestly would like to work with her full-time; full-on. I'd totally be up for having a core 3 with her. She's the sort of individual that I feel like I could strategise and make decisions with, but still trust. "

"Aghhhh.. Immunity today wasn't that great.

First of all, Max didn't help all that much in the puzzle, which was irritating... However, fortunately, I still managed to finish it very quickly.

Then, we started to help Dan out with his puzzle because he appeared to be stuck. Finally, when we did it, we were about to win and then... So screwed up at the last second and we lost immunity. Darn it.

The one good thing coming out of this challenge is that we got to see some of the members of the opposing tribe, and, well... I want to rock the fuck out of Rocker. He is an asswipe. If he was a bomb, it'd be a bouncing-betty because he's all the fuck over the place. I can say without any regrets that Rocker is an asshole and needs to sit the fuck down and experience some humbling."

"The big question comin' into this tribal is: do I want to persuade So to use her idol, or try to get her to keep it... Hm, on the one hand: if she plays it, it's out of the way -- no more idol in the game.

However...

If she keeps it, that could potentially help me a ton. Thing is, So and I are close. She's even called me bae before. ( ) I doubt she'd idol me out or use the idol against me or anything. Also, I might be able to manipulate her into using it for a reason that benefits me later down the line.

Honestly, I've come to the consensus that I think it'd be smarter to persuade So to keep her idol at this point. However, Kelly and So obviously have a tight twosome, so I gotta watch out for that. I have my eyes on them. "
