Episode 12

Hey Val,
Congrats on final 6! icon_mml

Do you think it's odd to see a near unanimous vote this late in the game? There aren't 6 contestants sitting up at the FTC, so some people are going to have to go: who do you think the last few members of the jury are going to be?

Anything to reflect on about Jeff's final words at tribal? Do you have enough sway in this f6 to ensure a spot at the end?

What's your case going to be to the jury? Will they respect the game that you have played?

And just talk me through your strategy for these last stages of the game.
Good luck!

It's super odd. I think it shows how super paranoid everyone is. No one is willing to "look like a Missy" by suggesting other names or coming up with clever plans. I'm really comfortable with Jac and Nad, and that's mostly where my paranoia comes from. People should see this. Maybe they can break us up, but why would they wait?

I think Nad and Jac think they can beat me. That's all I need right now. I just need to get rid of the last two Asmats and then we'll see what's up.

I was the glue and any time I needed, I could repair a relationship enough to save me at a vote. Looking particularly at the Jenn boot, if I hadn't been the type of player I am, I would not have been able to get Dale and Joaq back to vote with me. They know they could trust me more than Drew and me limiting my lying (I have, but not enough to really catch me), they came back to me. If I make it, I still have to work on my pitch to Dan.

Keeping Jac and Nad on my side is all I need. This looks mighty like Tasha's losing game, but let's see where I can go with this.

Joaquin wrote:Hey Val,

Sorry to hit you with this right now, but you were right in tribal that had you not wanted to win immunity, the others would have wanted to blindside you. Nadiya, Dale and Jaclyn all think that you are too big of a threat and when I get home I will copy/paste the entire group chat to prove it to you that I'm not lying. You have been one of the only people in this game that has been loyal to me and that counts a lot to me who likes to play as a loyal player. I think you and me need to team up to make a big move next tribal.

Please keep this on the DL as we are both fucked if this gets out.

I can't just listen to what he's saying as gospel, but that's the only reason I believe that the Reed vote was unanimous. I'm going to keep this mum, like I promised to him, for as long as I see fit, but I don't know if it's wise.

I know I come off as paranoid, so he probably wants to play off that. It's a good move, and well executed, but this is the moment to start being more careful and thoughtful.

I agree 100% So, Reed, and Val have made NO enemies. They all stand a really good chance of winning this game if we keep them here. If Val wins Sunday I say we go for Reed though because So is the least likely to win out of them 3

if so or reed get to the end ALL of their friends are on the jury and they're guaranteed a win

Okay perfect. I also think Jac is on the same page. So Dale said we should do Val next.. which I think is a good idea because she's close with both Reed and So.

Dale told me the same exact thing as you.

Yeah I trust you and Dale the most... and I think Jac is finally seeing how sketchy Val is being... I still regret that slip up on letting Drew get to our heads... but at least he's gone now. icon_lol

I think he was just trying to make you flush an idol if you had one. And yeah I was scared of Val and Jac flipping and voting Dale or you... but apparently Val voted So? like wtf was she trying to do?

What were you scared of? Jac and Val flipping on me?

I'm just glad Drew is gone haha. Camp should be a lot less chaotic. I've never had someone go just straight at me at tribal before I was scared shitless

Hey Val.

Can you please do me a favor and rank who you think is most likely to win a jury vote? Please include yourself such that everyone above you is likely to beat you (if there is anyone) and anyone below you is likely to lose to you (if there is anyone). An explanation for each person's ranking would be appreciated.

Jeff Varner, I have bigger problems on my mind than ranking!

Ummm, if the way everyone is freaking out about me and So it's

Val-Because no enemies???
So- Same reason?
Joaq- Underdog story, laidback and had control of his own game
Nad- Quiet sniper, willing to to vote ally out in dire moment
Dale- Another underdog story, but less likable
Jac- Never around, let others dictate her game, but survived with the lowest presence.

I guess I would be in the middle, for being strong in creating allies, but too weak to strike against them. (This is gonna make me make a stupid move)
So, I don't think many people like her thaaat much. She could be below Jac if not for the underdog story.

The tale gets more validity:

Joaquin wrote:Because of the fake idol thing earlier today, there was a whole group text about splitting the vote because they thought you were going to play the idol on reed. i'm not even kidding, i can post it if you want

Shit, dude, now I'm on board, because I lied to Nad and Jac about an Idol because I did not trust Jac (surprise, surprise). Unfortunately I told Nad later that I was lying. That's why she wanted me to play it.

The only way you could know is from them.

And, shoot, this is totally going to go down as his move. I like him, but how can I even keep him.

I opened up Pandora's Box. Nad is trying to turn this on me. I have every damn right to be paranoid in this game.
