Episode 11

Hey Val, congrats on making the final 7, let me throw out some quick questions for you.

1.) What have you been up to lately? You mind sharing with us what your day to day life is like?

2.) Could you tell us more about why you voted for So this past tribal council?

3.) Before he left, Drew claimed that the tribe is divided into you/Jac/Nadiya v.s. him/Reed/So and then Joaq/Dale in the middle. Do you agree or disagree with this?

4.) Who is in your ideal final 3?

1.) Like my real human life? Because I am human.

2.) Damn, It was a stressful day, sweet pea. I changed it because I was so frustrated that I didn't have control what was going on around me and seemed to have to be at one of the whims of two groups who voted for me in the past that I just thought "no I won't do it." I could have exacted my revenge on Drew with an actual vote, but that was Joaq's doing, not mine. I don't want to play either of their games. Kelly, hun, I know it seems like I'm playing emotionally, but that's part of it. I don't want to feel like I'm being tied down to either one of them in a conceptual sense. I'm my own damn woman.

3.) So is just, idk. If you saw, So voted for Drew and Reed voted for Dale. The rest seems right.

4) oops, forgot. My three girls. I'll fight 'em and they represent the game I've been saying I've been playing. That's the best way I can win.

Live in Brooklyn work in Brooklyn. I walk dogs for wealthy people and by the time I get here I'm already pretty physically tired, so it's good to kinda start in like they might feel in the show. I also smell bad after I come home, that adds to the effects. I'm also cat-sitting, so that's helping me not get any sleep. So, animals, tired, smelly... Also it's been raining pretty badly here and tonight I didn't have any hot water!

Oh wow that's terrible, hope you're still keeping warm anyhow! It looks like you love animals, why is that?

The cat's really needy so he's literally a furnace on top of me.

Idk, I just grew up around them. Went to camp at zoo, had three dogs most of my life.

In the job, they're now more like kids are to a grade school teacher... like, I love them, but they're really teaching me to have patience. I'm not learning too well.

Try walking around 6 unlike minded animals together down a busy New York sidewalk and across its streets and you will know frustration. Do it several times over the course of 5-6 hours, then you will either achieve Nirvana or just hope somewhere you are learning valuable lessons in life from this... just hope.

They are adorable though, so it's hard to stay to salty. Plus, you'll have your favorites who never let you down. There's this Frenchie named Luna and she's a puppy that smells so puppy and is always the happiest to see me. Instant fave... I look forward to her everyday.

Aw that's really sweet, is it hard to say goodbye to the favorites everytime your shift ends? Or is it mostly "thank god the day is over I'm so tired"?

The latter, but it's like an hour home on the trains, so I get some chill no-nonsense time.

They are great, too, but it's a job. I really can't even play or interact too much, cuz we gotta walk and I gotta pick up poop. It's all the not fun things of having a dog, but sometimes I just say "alright, guys, we're chilling here, what's up?" and that's pretty damn amazing.

You've said that the stresses of your work make you tired at the end of the day, which is when the game happens, would you say that you would play differently if you were more well rested?

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have voted for So, hahahahaha. I feel way more emotions when I'm tired and usually that's not good for this game.

I think top 7 is pretty admirable, though. Who know, maybe if I got more sleep I would have been a pre-merge boot.

Give me a ranking of your tribe from most dangerous to the least?

Jury Threat:
Joaquin
Reed
Jaclyn/Me/Nadiya But I can't tell yet which is higher, but:
Me if I'm basing it off of their voting for me
Jac if they respect her aggressive play/I know she has Dan's vote
Nad for her subtle control and immunity wins
Dale
So

But everything changes who got there and how they did and who you "brought" or if you were "brought."

Reed may be higher because he can lie so sweetly and convincingly in the sense of being dangerous.

To be fair, it seems like Reed's lies have put him in an unfortunate situation of being on the outs within the tribe, do you think this is a permanent thing? Is Reed doomed?

Well, it wasn't necessarily the lies as much as it was him being on the wrong side of the votes. So was opportunistic in voting Drew, maybe he should have been, too. I still like him and may keep him, but I will assure you that his lies have affected no one in the Jury directly.

Reed's clearly working with Joaq as much as he can. He's playing me again. Or, no matter what that's what I'm going to think. So, you're right, he's in a weird spot. But now I think he's in a spot where he can play with everybody's mind. He's telling me Dale's closer with the girls. Maybe because I could believe they want him to goat, but I really think he's trying to throw me off my game. It may be working. I suggested Joaq's name to him. But I went back and said "Yes 1000 times to your idea about getting rid of Dale and I'll back off Joaq." Anything to stop him from having too much on me.

Do you know if he has the numbers to pull anything off?

Not from what he's saying. He's calling me his number. But I don't like the way he's gone from innocent to this:

Reed wrote:Blunt thoughts:

If So's reaching FTC, my vote's for her hands down.
If Nad's gonna reach FTC with you and Jac, she wins game for me.
If Joaq's gonna sit with you at the end, he wins.

I'm not saying that you should take me to the end, but right now the best thing I can see how the jury will give you that win is to have Jac and Dale sitting with you at the end. Dale wont have Jenn's vote, nor Drew's. When I end up on that jury I'll definitely can plead my case to the other guys on the bench. Drew and I were really really tight, he was my number one. He owes me with that Jenn boot voting blunder, he'll vote whoever I want him to vote for. Jenn will be with us too. The rumor about an Asmat 4 Jenn, So, Drew and I was true. It's dead now, but that was the dream.

He's not naive and now he's shown it, yet sometimes likes to play that. He's Dangerous. He wants me to blindside Nadiya. If Nadiya goes, it won't be because of me. I'm going to try to play Dale's paranoia against Reed. Whether I want to use it to get rid of Reed, I don't know. If we can get two misdirects, we three girls can maybe, depending on where the votes go, have control over this game. Hopefully I can scare them into staying with me.

I can't let Reed or anybody else dictate where my vote's going.

Everyone is saying Reed, but it doesn't make sense. This is their last chance to pounce. We'll see, again, I'd just like immunity, because then policy is more in my hand.

Do you think the others view you as the biggest threat / leader of the alliance?
