9th Place | Voted Out 5-4

#2884 Congratulations on making the merge!!! icon_chaos icon_mml icon_chaos

Before we get to any questions, I just have to say, this is a place 7 people really wanted to be and are still wishing they could trade places with you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR OPPORTUNITY. You do not want to get to the final three with absolutely nothing on your résumé and believe me "I was secretly pulling the strings, i promise" is not going to fly with the jury. Play your guts out! Even if you go home swinging, it's better than going home after being reamed in the final 3 for being a "goat." So show us what you are made up and above all else, HAVE FUN WITH IT. This is a game and you want something to remember.

So that's my pep talk.

Now that that's out of the way, I'll ask a few questions: Are you happy to reunite with some of the other tribemates? Do you trust them considering you spent a majority of the game apart? Have you gotten to know the other players in this game? Now that you are merged and it is a new beginning, are you fully taking advantage of this opportunity and exploring all of your options?

Quit telling me how to play my game, Probst. I'll waste it if I want to!

Anyway, I'm not really thrilled to be reuniting with Joaquin because he's awful and is trying to worm his way back into my good graces. I think Joaquin's just really slimy and can't be trusted. But apparently Max and Sierra were just as slimy considering they spilled the beans about everything over on Asmat. They've made So and Kelly huge targets because of it.

I've mostly been concentrating on feeling out the Yali members I haven't met. I hit it off with Nadiya and Val right off the bat. They're just both really awesome and really fun. I'd love to work with them if given the chance. Dale still seems a bit mixed. Like, I like him, but Drew thinks he's a bit sketchy and has been low-key leaking info about everyone. But I definitely think Dale's been one of the more forthcoming members of Yali, which is always good. I'm not sure if Nadiya and Val truly want to work with me yet.

Now that we've merged, I'm definitely hoping Drew and I can finagle our way through the merge. If Drew's being honest with me, our plan is to flip-flop throughout the game and use the bitterness between the tribes to our advantage. I'm definitely game for siding with whichever alliance is best for me for that day. Right now, our plan is to hopefully get Dan out of this game. It's not that he's actually good at the game or that I want to get revenge on him or something. It's honestly just that Dan's a waste of space who is really contributing anything and Yali's more likely to consider turning on him and Joaq because they're not trustworthy.

Dan is just... I dunno, pathetic? I think he's trying really hard to play a huge goat game and is purposely trying to be the "Phillip Sheppard" or the "Russell Hantz" or the "Sugar" of this game. His entire game revolves around making people mad. But the problem is that he's not very good at it, at least I don't think so. Although, I used to be a massive troll when I was in high school, so not a lot of things do actually get to me because I've seen it all. But I definitely could use that to my advantage. If he pisses enough people off, Yali must just get sick of him and boot him.

#3035 So far, I think it's been a successful couple days. I think people have ignored Dan enough that he's getting really desperate for attention and is basically imploding his own game at this point. He PMed me about the idol and talked about the "kelimutu" idol. Honestly, I think he's panicking now and knows his name is on the chopping block. So now I bet he's trying to PM everyone pretending he has the idol so they become a little more hesitant to vote them out. Fortunately, I don't respond to trolls, so Dan's talk about the idol doesn't scare me. Really hoping no one else takes the bait either. It'd just be really pathetic if people flew into a tizzy over something so obviously desperate.

#3066 I'm trying to make sense of what the hell is going on myself. I've heard at least half the tribe come up as potential targets. One minute it's definitely Kelly and So, the next it's me, the next minute everyone hates Dan, immediately after suddenly Drew and Reed are traitors because they made it past one vote.

It's just in all honesty, one big free-for-all. At the end of the first day, the only names I hadn't heard come up were Jaclyn, Nadiya and Val. I think those three are going to be the key to this tribal. Whoever they end up deciding to vote, everyone else will just flock to them out of fear, myself included. There's just so much shit going down right now and I think it all really boils down to: Dan is trying to stir up as much chaos as possible. The guy is basically Missy 2.0. He absolutely thrives on chaos and paranoia and pandemonium. I think he's been the biggest troublemaker of the bunch and has been telling everyone all these different stories to get them hyped up. Here's hoping it all blows up in his face.

#3093 Right now... Drew, Reed, Val, Nadiya and myself are all on the same page and ready to vote out Dan. I believe So and Kelly are also on board with voting out Dan. The only frustrating part about getting Kelly on the same page is that she still thinks she's controlling the game and wants to put herself in the best position. That'd be all fine and dandy if everyone and their mother wasn't gunning for her and So. Either way, that's so far seven people who are willing to vote out Dan.

Dale's being extremely wishy-washy and is telling everyone he's voting for Kelly/So while throwing everyone under the bus. So... yeah I've got no idea about him. He and Dan seem to be the ones causing the most trouble and trying to cause chaos everywhere.

Joaq is just out for himself. He'd probably vote Dan to save his own skin, but I'm not going to tell him that's the plan just in case he's actually aligned with Dan.

And finally, there's Jaclyn. According to everyone on Yali, she's basically never involved in strategy talks, and yet she controls the entire tribe's vote... I'm sorry, what? My fate is basically in the hands of someone I can't even talk to? I dunno, I'm definitely nervous about the upcoming tribal. I have literally not even been able to talk to Jaclyn once in the past two days, but she makes the final decision on whether to trust me or not.

#3109 Okay.... something seriously fishy is going on with Yali. I'm starting to think my flip wasn't the best idea. The plan was to vote out Dan and it seemed like we had every single person on board for it untiiiiiiil Nadiya drops a bomb that Dale told her Kelly wants to blindside Jaclyn.

Now that'd be all fine and dandy and I'd just figure it was something Nadiya cooked up to make sure Kelly goes instead of Dan. However, Kelly recently came to me with that exact same plan and said she wanted to blindside Jaclyn after getting rid of Dan. Drew, So, Kelly and I were literally the only ones who even knew about that plan. It definitely makes me a little suspicious of Drew and makes me think he's just trying to play me for some reason. I mean, it's also possible Nadiya just made a lucky guess because she figured everyone would flock to the aid of the absent Queen Jaclyn and apparently everything single thing needs to go through Jaclyn.

Either way, the target immediately shifted from Dan to Kelly and I think it's locked pretty tight. I honestly have no idea how to switch the target back to Dan.

#3176 Both Dan and Kelly are going to be horrible people to keep around in the long run because both Dan and Kelly just want mass paranoia and chaos to be rampant in this game so that they can slide through and cause more trouble at the next vote. They're not solid people that you can rely on for the vote.

At this point, I honestly don't care which of the two goes as long as I'm safe for the next couple votes as Yali votes out the troublemakers. My game has definitely transformed into more of an "anybody but me" game and I'm just going to hopefully play myself as a vote for sale. With Yali being so powerful right now, I definitely just have to lay low for the next few tribals to see what sort of cracks I can find.

#3192 So, I know it's not the smartest move for me, but I enjoy tormenting the ever-loving shit out of Dan. Over the past few days, I've just completely given up on making nice with Dan and I've just been PMing him and telling him that it's inevitable he's going home next. Honestly, I'm just turning the tables right back on him. He wants to play games with me? I can play games right back.

I know for sure, at this point, that he's not going home. Jaclyn's not budging, and honestly I'm not pulling too much for Kelly to stay because she's just putting a huge target on my back. So I'm just having a little fun with him, hoping he might actually drop the troll facade and get so paranoid that he plays any idol he might have to make sure he goes home right after Kelly with no surprises.

If I get to the end, that'll probably lose me his vote, but I figure I wasn't going to get his vote anyway after I voted out Joe. So I figure I can at least have a little fun with him while he's here. His asshole tendencies just bring out the troublemaker in me and it's just the most fun I've had in days.

#3222 Kelly came to me with this ... "brilliant" last-ditched effort. Here's her plan: tell Dan that her and So want to vote me out so that he can switch his vote to me.

Uuuuuuuh, right, about that. I've been trying to get the target off my back since we merged and you just want to go ahead and throw me under the bus? Not gonna happen. There was definitely a sliver of guilt lying to Kelly all this time, but if she's just going to offer me up like a piece of meat so easily, I don't even care anymore. In fact, I really hope the vote stays the same now and that she goes without question.

#3247 Going into the challenge and tribal tonight, I'm definitely worried that Yali's just playing me and that I'm basically just going to get used and abused tonight. But at this point, I don't really have any other options than to stick with the Yali majority of Jaclyn, Nadiya, Drew, Reed, Dale and Val (possibly Dan as well because who wouldn't want an ultra-mega-goat for a free win?). Right now, I have no other choice than to trust them because the numbers just aren't there to do anything else.

#3339 Unfortunately, I got my hand caught in the cookie jar at the challenge and got penalized for talking to So about it. I'm sure I just put an even bigger target on my back by doing that and that the Yali tribe is going to be even more paranoid about trusting me. Hopefully, once we vote Kelly out, I can try to spin it as a strategic move to try and get So out of the challenge without having to even start it.

Really hoping I can do some major damage control in the meanwhile so that So isn't the next target.
