Hey Drew! here are your customary confessional prompts :)

1) It looks like you and Reed were the swing votes this past tribal, what are your thoughts on that? What ways can you take advantage of this position?

2) Speaking of Reed, how close have the two of you gotten? Is it going to carry over to the finals?

3) So far it's looking like Yali is just going to steamroll over Asmat, how does this make you feel? Can you trust the people you are aligned with now?

1) We set ourselves up today to do that. I lied to Joaq Dan and Dale telling them I was with them, so they needed me to have their plan work out. Everyone was too paranoid to cross notes, so I threw out a bunch of lies. Now I am confronting with the truth about things so people see me as a valuable alliance member. I still think people should be on to Reed and I, but I guess they aren't lol.

2)Reed is awesome. I would love to make the finals with him. If I had to lose to anyone, he's your guy. As of right now, I would take Reed over a goat to the finals.

3)Yali may think they will steamroll over Asmat, but I have So and Jenn in my back pocket. We just have to convince Yali that Reed So Jenn and I don't have a group, and we're good to go. If I just went to the final 6 with Yali, I'd have to win out. If I have to I will, but I'd rather go out swinging than risk having to win every challenge. i'll add more later I'm just dealing with some hardcore fallout from today.

no worries, take your time. These questions aren't going anywhere until after the next council.

You mentioned previously that you are willing to flip things on Yali with Jenn and So at final 9, we're at final 9 now, are we going to see this happen?

Also, what are the main things that's bonded you and Reed? Do you think you will be friends in real life after the game?

I see it like this. I'm feeling out Joaq and Dale to see what they are feeling. Dale was pissed, but I came clean and told him straight up how it is. I knew that arguing would get me nowhere so I used kindness and blunt honesty. He took it well, and apparently sees me as the only deserving winner out of the group left that voted against his group. Joaq knows it was just game, and I think I may be able to sway them eventually to flip on Yali. It might not be until F8, since I'm getting the feeling that with Joaq still here I may be in trouble. Ideally, I eliminate Joaq next. Then use Dale to flip on Yali. If I need to I'll go for in now, but I feel like I may get screwed over if I do. Dale and Joaq are aware me Jenn So and Reed are together. Say we flip on Nadiya. Dale and Joaq could easily just jump ship and join the other side after. At the same time, Dale and Joaq could convince the Yali that my 4 is strong, and they needed them to take us out. If I feel this may be the case, I'll try to pull Dale and Joaq in, make a F4 or something with them and Reed and use their votes. it all depends on how i see everyone feeling. If I split up Dale/Joaq, They can't jump over to the others to make a big move on us, so whoever is left will join us to take out the Yali. I see that as my best option.

Me and Reed just see the game the same. Plus, we both like basketball. I think he kind of looks up to me a bit, but I also look at him and see a really mature guy. I'd love to stay friends after this, especially because we live so far apart.

Hosts please read this. Nadiya is really down and was talking to me about quitting. Some people may see that as good because they're closer to winning. I would hate if she quit because the stress got to her. Please help cheer her up I'm trying as best as I can but I can only do so much. I really want her to be happy and not to feel like she has to quit because it's too big of a burden.

Eh. Just hate seeing people down and out. Plus it would suck to have someone quit. I wanna win legit not by having other people quit. Nad's a sweet girl. She deserves better than everyone talking shit about her.

Hey Drew, just saw your Pity Party, what's going on?

And what were your thoughts on that challenge - both results and guesses?

Also, can you please give me a game status update in the form of a trust ranking? Something like ranking your other tribemates 1-8 with a trust score /10

So if you trust me the most, you'd go:

1. Jeff Varner: 10

so on and so forth.

Guess I just like a challenge and don't want to be given a free pass to F8. But hey to each their own. More satisfying to win legit than to have to rely on people quitting.

My stupid sense of humor mixed with the curve-ball of that challenge just happened haha.

Although most people think it fucked me over, I look at it as a blessing in disguise. I need to stop playing Survivor and start playing Stranded. If this was survivor I'd still be totally in control of the game. Unfortunately everyone here is a superfan trying to play the same, not a diverse group from all walks of life like survivor. Everyone is trying to play the control game, so I need to switch it up.

Trust right now:
1.Reed 9
2.So 8
3.Jenn 7
4.Joaq 5
5.Nad 5
6.Dale 4
7. Jac 4
8. Val 2

Are you saying that the results of the challenge doesn't give you any pause at all?

When you say you need to switch it up, what do you mean by that? Is Survivor really that different from Stranded? Most people who play the show are very well versed in how it works and the people you are playing with appear to be from very different walks of life.

No I actually said the opposite. The challenge made me stop and reflect on my game and what I need to do differently. I was playing too well, and had become a huge threat. By continuing to just play the same game, I would inevitably be taken out fairly soon.

I mean that you have 18 different people playing here. Yes, they come from all walks of life, yes they are all different. The thing is though, on Survivor, you have recruits, superfans, people who are there for the adventure, and much more. Everyone here is a superfan, and is going to be playing the superfan style of game where you want control but don't want to be a target. If I play like everyone else is, I won't win. I'm already a target, I needed to figure out how to use that to my advantage, and I believe I am. Stranded and Survivor are very similar, but also very different. I believe myself, along with most other people here, have a strategy that is catered to how Survivor would be played. Stranded isn't Survivor, it has quite a few differences. I need to cater my strategy to how to play that, not Survivor.
