I have a lot of respect for Drew's modesty:
Drew wrote:My game has been superb so far, and I'm tied for most tribal's survived. I've been a key in every big move, and will continue to be.
******
If I make it to the end, I'll have played one of the most masterful and entertaining games you've ever seen.

Drew's defeat will be GLORIOUS.
Or when he is on the wrong side of a blindside.

They're playing crazy, that's for sure!
Jenn is the only person to who's so far noticed the Jac/Val/Nad mean girl alliance. But will she be able to do anything about it?
And I think we have to give props to Queen Jaclyn. She only logs on every three days, but somehow everyone defers to her and wants her on their side. I mean, what the fucking fuck??? Usually, everyone is searching for "inactives" to vote out, but her inactivity (in her defense, she is apparently in the midst of final exams) seems to make her stronger. She truly has some kind of g.oddess powers.

This is so true. Literally, it was so hard for any of us who came over to Yali could have ever known that Jaclyn had this kind of impact based on what we saw of her. We knew she had to have some sort of likability to be elected as leader in the first place, but I think I kind of shortsightedly chalked that up to "it was only Day 1" in my head. I give her real props though for managing to stay alive in spite of being forced to not be around as much. There were plenty of good reasons NOT to vote me out over her, yet she held me off. Can't do anything but just respect it. Paraphrasing Dale: "I just think she'll be a number for us who we can trust" in his confessional... that sounds to me like HE'S being fooled and underestimated her due to her inactivity and if that's the case, yeah it's paying off even better for her. I've seen so many players in games go inactive and then others are just like "well, we can still use/count on their vote and they won't have the time or desire to try to pull anything crazy", but that's almost NEVER the reality. Even if Jac maintains semi-inactivity, if she wants to win, it will only make her actions in the game more aggressive to give herself a chance anyway, I would hope.
I'm feeling like more and more shit for my role in painting a bullseye on Kelly and So now that I'm
not the one possibly benefiting from it.

I felt like with Dan throwing them under the bus I had no choice but to pile on to the anti-So train to appear loyal to new Yali... but I'm not tryna have Dale and Nad be rewarded for sending me home solidifying it as the right move, thus Kelly and So need to pull off an underdog story at least for a few rounds. Just not at Dan's expense plz.

I know this sounds extremely bad, but i feel as though my inactivity may save me from the next few votes.
Yeah she's milking the shit out of this. Which is smart, all you can do is make the best of your situation. She's really going to need to lay it thick to win in a F3 situation, it's not as if jurors are just going to forget the fact that they kept her around almost entirely due to her inactivity. The "real life happens" card is probably the better one to play at FTC instead of trying to play it off as a strategy though, I think. No one I've ever met wants to hear that they lost at something because someone else was here less. It's going to be hard (but doable) for her to beat two FTC opponents with these exams in the way.

I think what's important to note in regard to Jaclyn is how powerful she was in the pre-swap Yali (especially very early on). She formed a really solid bond with Nadiya and I guess Val too, and Dale was an outsider at that point. He was only scooped in post-swap as a number himself if you read their (or maybe it was just Jaclyn who said that) confessionals immediately following the swap.
An inactive probably is "just a number" but I think Jaclyn built a lot of foundation in those early days when she was actually being pretty active to solidify where she is now. I wonder though how long her alliance is willing to carry her before she becomes a liability where they do all the strategy and social work while she's not even online. I think she's doing a good job of being just active enough to cause concerns but not too inactive to cause them to do something about it.

I agree that it's smart for now but I don't think her low inactivity levels are going to stay that low. On one hand, laying low at the merge is really smart because the bigger guns (usually) take themselves out and then she can come back and start playing hard. On the other hand, I don't think her low activity levels are planned strategy as much as that she really is just busy in real life and it is convenient for her strategy right now.

Yup agreed, I haven't read many confessionals but I did see Val wanted to vote Dale when we were on Yali, but wouldn't do it without Nad's blessing, and I know Nadiya even if she didn't love Dale, at least she knew that Dale liked her the most so I feel like it's unlikely she would have signed off on it.
Yeah no I'm sure Jac is being honest about not being able to be here, the middle of the game is probably the least damaging time for this sort of thing to come up anyway, so that's good at least.

Jaclyn's game will probably depend on how much everyone else evolves while she's been gone but that is some pretty impressive foundation building on her part that she has her alliance doing all the dirty work for her. She's lucky that this is happening when it is because it's harder to take out quieter players early in a merge.

Really hoping Reed and Drew go through with their idea to blow the game up. But hopefully not at the expense of Dale.
A Kelly boot is so boring..

This tribal would be 100x better if So wasn't so terrible at "scrambling", or whatever it is called what she is attempting to do.
In reality, all she's doing is creating a bigger target on her own back, and the others will bond over rallying against her.

that Dale hinky vote though, if that were used properly, good be a perfect landmine for Drew.
