#971 Has the topic of a swap/merge been on anyones minds? How do you think you have been playing thus far and do you think that your style of play would lend itself to a win or will you ahve to change that up in the next phase of the game? Are you happy with how the swap has gone and the outcome so far at Asmat? Who on Asmat are you currently afraid of?

#1000 Hi Jeffrey,

1) The timings of swaps/merges has been on a lot of people's minds. Personally, if we're not swapping tomorrow because of back to back IC/TC (which, would be a cruel joke as it doesn't fit the leader theme of the season and I schedule meetings around these challenges), I don't see us swapping again and we'll probably just merge at 12.

2) I think my style of play would be rewarded. I'm not acting like a douche at challenges (Dale, Dan), and am executing my manipulative ploys. I'm generally in the middle of the most things and am active. Having won a Survivor game before, I don't believe I'm playing too INV or douchey to lose to everyone right now. I will definitely be ramping the intensity up as the game goes along though, as after the merger you have to grab Survivor by the balls.

3) On Asmat, I'd say I was REALLY happy Keith left and am lukewarm on Missy. Obviously it's great that these are former Yali people, which strengthens my position either way if I stick it out with Asmats or flip to Yalis, and Keith is someone who other Yali people had long-term deals with that I can now replace. Missy, on the other hand, while she's a former Yali, I wanted her to be aligned with So & Kelly in order to make them a target. A huge manipulative move I've learned over the years is that if you focus everyone on defeating a target, they are way more likely to listen to what you have to say and you can position yourself for later in the game while they are distracted by this target. So & Kelly are the targets right now, and Missy leaving takes some of the target off of their back (they wouldn't hold a simple majority if it's just Asmats) so it's harder to justify how much of a target they are. Also, having just committed to flipping to the Yalis on my tribe to combat them, it's kind of hard to turn back now.

4) Who am I concerned about? So and Kelly. You've heard it enough times, Probst. By wheeling and dealing with everyone, they have put huge targets on their backs. Not concerned about Joe at all. Reed and Drew are probably real tight with Dale so I'll have to watch out for that.

#1060 For the record, if you haven't read our messages yet - straight power move. If Max grabs immunity, one of my three alliance members is gone. Not a risk I'm willing to take.
