Hey, I'm Vytas of Stranded: Portugal and Stranded: All-Stars in Marquesas
Welcome to Stranded in Indonesia!
You'll be seeing a lot of me here, as well as our 10 other co-hosts as we pick your brain to see what's really going on in your head throughout the game. Feel free to ask any of us questions in here if you need to, we've all been through it before and are more than willing to help.
Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. We will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. The more you update your confessional, the better idea we have of whats going on in your head, and also the more fan favorite points you'll earn yourself come the end of the season
. You don't have to only update when you are prompted to, whenever you have an idea shoot it at us because we want to know everything.
So..
How confident are you going into this game that you will win?
What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?
What is your strategy and approach to the game?
How do you think your rep fits you? Do you think being this character will affect your gameplay at all?
What are your thoughts on the leader twist? Change your strategy at all going in to these first few days?
Best of luck out there.

>How confident are you going into this game that you will win?
At this point? Not at all lol. I got a 1 in 18 shot just like everyone else. If things work out awesome, but so much is out of your control so it's hard to be really confident in anything.
>What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?
Just judging by camp posts, everyone seems cool. The only person I've DM'd is Drew and he also seems cool. I could see us working together, but it's much to early to really try to lock that down.
>What is your strategy and approach to the game?
At this point, just be everyone's friend. Pop you head into any camp thread. Respond to every DM. Just keep my ear to the ground and seem like another member of the group.
>How do you think your rep fits you? Do you think being this character will affect your gameplay at all?
I'm not really going to play anything like Keith, but I'm pumped he's my character because of how others will respond to a Keith avatar. How can you look at Keith and not smile? I don't think it's out of the question for someone to think "hey I liked Keith on the show, maybe I should at least consider working with him in this game".
>What are your thoughts on the leader twist? Change your strategy at all going in to these first few days?
It's a lot of fucking power that I don't want. I'd love to see an ally get the power, but I want to stay FAR AWAY from it.

OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY I'M KEITH.
I'm pretty sure a few of these people are messaging and trying to work with me just because they liked my avatar on the show. I'm sorry, but that's crazy to me. All I know is I fucking lucked out with this Avi.
So far things are looking pretty good strategy wise. A four person alliance looks to be happening with Me, Drew, John, and Jac (and we have the idol). I also feel like I've created some very close bonds with Reed and Missy, who both probably see as their #1 ally. Also formed some decent bonds with Nadiya, and Dale. Really the only person I have no connection with is Val, and it's only day 1. Things are looking up so far lol.

Also I think it's kind of annoying Jac was allowed to keep the idol for herself. Would've been much more interesting and hectic to see her scramble to find someone to give it to. Just from a fans perspective, that would have been much more interesting. Her keeping it was kind of the boring and predictable move. She's someone that I want in my alliance for now, but it will also be very easy to convince people to take her out if I want her to go.

No idea what Missy is doing sending that message out to me and Jac. It just seemed completely out of no where. I had literally no clue Missy and Jac where close, and now all of the sudden where all going to the final 3. wtf. I feel like Missy doesn't have much game sense, but I also feel like she's not going to write my name down anytime soon, so I'd like to keep her around. At this point I have to find a time when me and Jac are online together so we can talk. First Drew proposed me, him, Jac, and John to me, and now Missy is proposing me, her, and Jac. It would be interesting to see if we could balance both alliances.
Right now, my target by default has got to be Val. The only people that I haven't talked to much with are Val, John, and Jac. And since Drew is putting me in an alliance with John and Jac, Val is really the only one I'm not "with" in any way. I should probably message her at some point this weekend, and I really don't care if it's someone other than her (as long as it ain't me), but in a perfect world Val would be going if we went to tribal.

Alright, so thinks are going pretty fucking great right now. I've got a 5 person deal (me, Drew, Jac, Missy, Nadyia), and three person deal in the five person deal (me, Jac, and Missy), a two person deal (me and Drew), and now me and Drew are working on both making another side deal. It's a lot of balls to keep up in the air at once, but I think the way this game is set up, I can handle it. I've just got a really good feeling about where I'm positioned in the tribe, and if I had to guess I'd venture to say I might be the most "connected" person on this tribe.
So yeah, things look like they are set up pretty well for me. Now it's just a matter of capitalizing on the position that I've gotten myself into.

The challenge is going to start in about in hour and I'm really not all that concerned. One of two things is going to happen:
1. We win, everyone is happy, and we keep our numbers up
2. We lose, but I don't go anywhere (barring something really weird happening), and we start to trim the fat. Going to tribal can be pretty important early in the game, and as long as you make it through, it makes you a stronger player going into the merge.
Win or lose, I'm really not concerned about the challenge. I just want it to start so I can see how they work in a team setting.

Holy shit I bombed in the challenge. I still don't feel like I'm in trouble, but I'm going to have to get a little better at this shit so they don't take me out for weighing them down in challenges. If I can find a way to get a system down, I should be fine. It's not that I can't do these challenges, it's just that I'm not doing them in a quick enough way. Whatever, JR is still probably going next time we go to tribal anyway. Still definitely concerned about my performance. Hopefully no one freaks out about it and tries to take me out over it.

Alright, I'm really not concerned about anyone taking me out based on my challenge performance anymore. No one seems to care. Still, I thought it was important to send that message to my alliance trashing JR just to dig his grave a little deeper and get everyone more on board with the fact that he's going next.
Also, the idea of me and Drew turning on the alliance of Jac, Missy, and Nadiya sooner rather than later is starting to grow on me. Jac has the idol, Missy is very much so the leader of the current alliance, and Nadi KILLED it in the first challenge. I don't think it would be smart to do it now, but I could totally see myself and Drew swinging to Dale and Reed to take out those other 3 sometime right before or right after the merge. I'd have a hard time believing that the five of me, Drew, Missy, Jac, and Nad are going all the way.

I like you a lot Keith, I can see your gears turning as you start to figure out the lay of the land. Tell me, has this game given you a new perspective on Survivor and are you modifying the way you initially wanted to play the game based on teh reality of the situation?

I don't think it's really giving me a new perspective on Survivor because it's so different than real Survivor. On real survivor, me talking to people like Drew, Missy, Jac, Dale, ect. would immediately key people in that I am close with them. Here, you can talk with people all you want in the DM's without people suspecting a thing. The conversations we have routinely in the DM's are probably very hard to come by on the real island.
I'm really haven't changed my strategy based on the situation because I really didn't come in with a very set strategy. I new I wanted to get into a majority and kind of figure things out from there, and I've done that. Now I just have to keep reminding myself that you can't win the game on day 6 and to not play too hard too fast. There will come a time to make a move, and I know that I will not be scared to pull the trigger, but I can't pull it too soon.
