Stranded in Indonesia

So I'm starting something new this season! Or trying to. As a way to keep everyone informed on the goings on, we will put in these daily recaps of the events, or hourly or whatever it may be. Here's how it will work. Much like Live Feed Recaps in BB, we will be posting short snippets of what has gone on in TL;DR format. This way we can all get a clear picture of everything that happened throughout the season.

If you see some missing gaps, FILL THEM IN! If you are paying attention closely to something going on and you feel the need to post it, DO IT!

So lets get this on. I'm going to go through all of the conversations today and post some snippets on what happened so we are all caught up going forward. Have fun!

Day 1

Yali

18:00 - The game begins; Reed, Drew, Val, Jaclyn, Nadiya all explaining the usual pleasantries.
18:09 - Val within minutes suggesting to Nadiya that someone else is leader;
18:20 - Reed suggest to Jaclyn that they elect Keith (who hasn’t arrived) as leader to troll the hosts.
18:23 - Val telling everyone she doesn’t want to be the leader, starts pushing the Keith idea.
18:39 - Jaclyn and Reed bond over being Filipino. Begin speaking to one another in filipino.
18:46 - Reed is swooning over being called ‘Baby’ by John Rocker
18:51 - Val starts a group chat between herself, Jaclyn, Reed, Nadiya. First alliance is made.
18:57 - Jaclyn suggest making one of the alliance members the leader.
19:13 - Jaclyn makes inroads with Drew and John Rocker. Suggests volunteering for leader.
19:20 - Val begins pushing for John Rocker to join the alliance of 4. Nadiya is really against that and sees John as a wild cannon.
19:21 - Nadiya and Jaclyn are scared that Val wants to make John the leader, so Jaclyn volunteers.
19:33 - Reed brings up again, this time with Drew, that John called him ‘baby’ considers himself lucky.
19:33 - Keith arrives making only Missy the last to show up.
19:33 - John Rocker and Drew on board with voting Jaclyn as leader. Both becoming closer with Val and Jac.
20:14 - Dale arrives.
20:20 - Keith and Drew become very close, but Nadiya/Jaclyn have noticed them ‘bro-ing it up’

-Tribes are asked to elect a tribe leader to make an important decision. -

Yali Leadership Council

20:31 - ‘Leadership’ Council starts and Missy arrives.
20:45 - Tribe has foregone the vote and Jaclyn is the leader. Awaits her first decision of the game
20:48 - Thinking they were voting someone out, Reed votes for John because of the ‘baby’ comment.
20:55 - Probst tells Jaclyn to give out a Public Immunity Idol to someone on her tribe.
20:59 - Jaclyn takes the Public Idol for herself.
21:00 - Nadiya thinks it was a risky move. Tells the newcomer Missy that Jac is a good player.

21:08 - Keith and Drew decide to get into an alliance with Jaclyn so they are in power.
21:14 - Nadiya becoming wary of Jac, tells Reed she thinks Drew and Jac are too close. Solidifies her friendship with Reed. Reed agrees.
21:28 - Keith and Missy form a bond for both showing up later than the others and being the ‘older members’ of the tribe.
21:32 - Keith and Missy make an official alliance. Agree to look out for one another.

TL;DR wrote:Val, Jaclyn, Nadiya, Reed form the first alliance. They go from wanting Keith to be the leader to later Jaclyn volutneering. Jaclyn makes alliances with Rocker/Drew who also bring in Val. Val kinda goes rogue and tries to bring in Rocker to the alliance of 4, but Nadiya/Jaclyn shut that down quickly. Drew and Keith form a tight bond and also want to keep Jaclyn close. Jaclyn is elected leader unanimously and gives herself a Public Immunity Idol. Nadiya becomes suspicious of her alliance-member Jaclyn and plants the seeds of doubt in Val and Reed's heads. Keith, Dale and Missy finally show up. Keith makes a solid alliance with Missy since they are both the last to arrive and on the outs.

Day 1

Asmat

18:00 - The game begins; Sierra, Joe, Shirin, Max, Kelly, Dan, So and Jenn are all available and beginning to know each other.
19:04 - An hour in and everyone is still just chatting about their lives, nothing solid alliance wise going on. However, Joe and Kelly talking about who to target first. since Shirin has gone missing, she’s the obvious choice.
19:14 - Kelly and Joe becoming worried that no one has stepped up to be the leader. They create a thread for the tribe where So, Kelly and Joe all volunteer.
19:38 - Shirin arrives and messages people asking them to take her to the end and she will be their goat.
19:43 - So and Kelly seem to be in the front of the running for leader with Joe behind.
19:47 - In her first response to So, Shirin apologizes for using commas and claims she’s just human like her.
19:50 - Shirin messages Kelly telling her she’s stupid and has no social skills or ability for logic and she is an easy early vote. Says she is loyal and dumb.
19:56 - With the love tribe in session and everyone getting along, Shirin’s late presence is peculiar. She tells So that she just had a 4 hour break from wanting to end her life.
20:00 - So and Kelly are legitimately concerned about Shirin’s well being after she mentions ending her life.
20:06 - Sierra responds to Shirin saying that she is not a liar and has no game in her at all. She says “sounds simple enough for me, i can see why you were cast”
20:14 - the tribe is trying to figure out if Shirin is acting as a game move or is serious.
20:22 - Joe reaches out to Shirin. Tells her not to worry and that he will help her.
20:30 - Shirin explains to joe that she is confused about how the mechanics of the game works. Joe explains to her in detail how everything is run.

Leadership Council

20:50 - The vote ties between Kelly - 3, So - 3, with Joe, Jen and Shirin all having 1.
20:55 - after not being able to decide, a revote is in order.
20:59 - In the revote, So is elected as leader and now has a dilemma. Who to give the PII to.
21:03 - Shirin begs So for the idol.
21:06 - After taking a few minutes to decide, So also decides to give the idol to herself.
21:12 - Dan and Joaquin have formed a close relationship.
21:15 - It seems as though the whole tribe is getting along well, everyone feeling the love.
21:32 - The first talk of an alliance has started when Dan approached Joe about joining Joaquin and him. Immediately Joe insists on inviting Kelly and tells her about it before he gets permission.
21:37 - After talking to joe, Dan quickly changes it to be Sierra, Dan, Joaquin, Joe and Kelly as per Joe’s request.
21:51 - After discussing it, Kelly and Joe decide to reluctantly join Dan’s alliance, but in the meantime talk more with Jenn and So to keep their options open.
22:15 - Since Dan is the only one to talk game with Sierra so far, she brokers the alliance together and asks Kelly if she’s comfortable with it

TL;DR wrote:Everyone really talkative in one on one conversations for the first two hours. Absolutely no alliance talk, but pairs are forming. Dan and Joaquin become very close as do Joe and Kelly. Shirin is the last person to arrive and when she does she goes completely off the wall talking about how much she sucks at the game, how she is just a goat to take to the end and that she will do whatever people want. This is within her first PM. She then mentions to So that she just had a 4 hour break from wanting to end her life. This sets off a tailspin of concern about Shirin's mental state. Joe then, sweetly, approaches her and tells her not to worry and that everything is fine. He helps her learn the forums and then helps everyone else see that she isn't bad and that she's not screwed. Shirin seems to calm down a bit. During the Leadership council, it's a tie vote and So ends up leader. While she's debating about who to give the PII to, Shirin begs for the idol. So ends up keeping the idol for herself vowing to get rid of it during the first TC. Afterwards, Dan approaches Joe about joining Joaquin, Sierra and he in an alliance. Joe suggests bringing along Kelly and Dan agrees. Joe and Kelly discuss potentially flipping on Dan at some point because they are closer to So and Jenn, despite not having any formal alliances. The entire day goes without any group PMs of any kind.

Day 2

Asmat

9:45 - Dan declares Max boring to Joe.
10:28 - Kelly and Max discuss the game, Kelly divulges that she likes everyone but Shirin who is just a troll.
10:35 - So and Kelly discuss Sierra and Joe as potential alliance mates. Kelly suggests Dan as a fifth. Suggests that So saves her idol to use against the other tribe. With everyone getting along, they are worried about what would happen if they lost again after an easy Shirin boot.
10:45 - Kelly says she is glad she is with the person who has the idol. So says it’s ‘our idol’
10:57 - Dan starts the first group chat with him, Joe, Joaquin, Kelly and Sierra
11:06 - Max and Joe talking, Max brings up alliances with Joe. Joe avoids the subject.
11:19 - Kelly is happy with the alliance of the “5 Amigos” but would like to include So.
11:33 - Kelly and Joe decide to make a separate alliance with just So. Solidify their bond by also naming themselves “Jelly”
15:18 - Joaquin tells Joe about an alliance Jenn is trying to form between the three of them.
15:35 - They agree to just agree with Jenn’s alliance despite being in the 5 amigos.
17:35 - So says TGIF to Joe. Joe asks So what that means…
18:03 - Jeff Probst announces that Shirin has been pulled from the game and a new Shirin will be joining them shortly.
18:13 - Kelly is worried the first boot may no longer be easy. So is concerned about the well-being of original Shirin.
19:53 - Kelly tells Dan she would like to bring in So as a 6th wheel. Dan seems wary and doesn’t trust her with the idol. Kelly suggests So keeping the idol to use for the tribe.
20:10 - Kelly brings up adding So to the alliance to the group chat. Dan suggests we wait incase So has other alliances wth Jenn/Max. Doesn’t trust So.
20:25 - Initially Joe agrees and suggests pulling in So, but after seeing Dan’s reply decides to stay “neutral”.
20:45 - Kelly tells So about the alliance of Dan, Sierra, Joe, Joaquin and herself (Kelly).
20:49 - So feels left out, says she has a connection with everyone but Dan.
20:53 - Kelly suggests that she and Joe could flip on them if necessary.
20:59 - So ranks the tribe, puts Dan last just before Shirin.
21:05 - Kelly ranks dan last before Shirin as well.
21:05 - So asks if Dan formed the alliance.
21:07 - Kelly says that Dan formed the alliances, but wanted her to take credit, says he’s shady as hell.
21:10 - So suggests aligning with Jenn and Max and taking Joe/ Kelly to form a new five with the idol.
21:12 - Kelly suggests going along with the 5 and that Dan would be an easy blindside.
21:24 - So reveals to Kelly that she is bi.
02:11 - Joaquin drunk messages the alliance several times.

Shirin is replaced for breaking the rules against revealing your identity. Meanwhile, Dan starts the first group chat / alliance with Dan, Joaquin, Joe, Kelly and Sierra called the “Five Amigos”. Kelly and Joe want to bring So into the alliance. Dan is hesitant. This makes Kelly inform So of the 5 amigos and immediately So wants to form a counter alliance to blindside Dan, whom she trusts the least.

Day 3

16:30 - Sierra and Max discuss new Shirin and the potential of booting her should she not arrive.
16:36 - Sierra tells Kelly that she trusts her opinion on So. Says she should go with the flow on whether or not she plays the idol.
19:14 - Jenn catches up with Kelly. Tells her that she thinks Joaquin and Max are locked in with her. Asks if she heard anything from So or Joe.
19:17 - Kelly says they both seem cool but Joe seems shadier between the two of them, but her and So are close. Kelly reaffirms with Jenn that she wants to save So’s idol.
20:11 - Jenn agrees and says she wants to keep an eye on Joe.
20:44 - Dan discusses the idol with Sierra. Says he’s the only one who seems to want to get rid of it.
20:50 - Sierra agrees with Dan, worries about what So will do with the idol.
21:01 - Dan completely agrees, thinks Kelly is arguing too hard to keep the idol. Dan tells Sierra that she is the best at strategy talks and that she is her #1 right now.
21:57 - The 5 amigos laugh at the possibility of having to replace Shirin for a third time since the new one has not arrived yet.
00:24 - Sierra gets back to Dan and tells him she is 100% with him and that she feels closest to him as well. Says she isn’t sure how to handle the So situation, wants to tell her to let go of the idol but isn’t sure of the best way to do it.

TL;DR wrote:Everyone's talkign about the obvious boot of Shirin since she has still not yet arrived. Kelly is still angling to keep So's idol. This sets off Dan and Sierra to solidify their bond and also discuss why Kelly is so keen on keeping the idol and bringing in So. They also discuss Jenn as a potential ally.

08:34 - Missy starts a new group chat with Keith and Jaclyn. Declares them an alliance and showers them with extra rice. Suggests Nadiya and Val/Drew as 4th and 5th members.
16:11 - Jaclyn updates Nadiya, tells her she is her closest ally and wants her to form the alliance with Missy/Keith so they have eyes everywhere.
16:45 - Keith and Drew talk about solidifying their alliance and forming a larger one.
17:14 - Dale is beginning to worry because no one is talking game with him yet. Asks Missy, John Rocker and Jaclyn if they have heard any game talk.
17:48 - Drew starts a group chat between hisself, Keith, Jaclyn and John Rocker.
18:10 - Drew and Dale say that they really like and trust each other. Nothing further than that happens.

Day 3

Yali

11:54 - Missy invites Nadiya and Drew into the alliance with herself, Jaclyn and Keith.
18:38 - Drew and Reed are hte only ones online, talking for a bit. Discuss inactivity. Drew takes this moment to talk about Val and ask if she has been online. Sounds like he’s hinting.
19:20 - Keith and Drew talk about the alliance Missy started. Originally wanted an alliance with John Rocker, but decide to go along with Missy for now and make a side thing with John. Keith agree.
01:38 - Jaclyn celebrates with Nadiya about being in the middle of both alliances. She also celebrates with Missy and Keith about being in the core of the new alliance.

TL;DR wrote:Keith and Drew form a tight bond. Missy starts a new alliance with Ketih / Jaclyn. From there they add Nadiya / Drew. Unbeknownst to Missy, Nadiya and Jaclyn are very tight. Drew is tight with Nadiya as well. Dale is somewhat alone, just talking to everyone trying to get into an alliance without succeeding.

I'll write today's updates soon, but I actually think it might be Rocker :'( which would SUUUUUCK. Let's hope that changes. I don't know why they'd want to keep people over him seeing as he beasted that challenge and basically won it for them, but... That's Stranded for you.

a lot can happen between now and whenever they do go to tribal. If they keep beasting it at challenges or paranoia keeps setting in, he'll probably be fine.
